Located on 4th Street just north of 17th Ave and just south of Hudson Ave, there is a great example of block salvaging. I have driven by this spot no fewer that 500 times in my lifetime and at least 150 since I developed the “brickness” but I just noticed the wall you see below a few months ago. It has clearly been in place a long time.

Looking at the wall, my guess is that it is made with Hocking Block Street Pavers or a mix of Hocking Block and Nelsonville Block. The mason work is really well done but looks to be many decades old.

A bit of a bummer, just in front of the wall, you can see where some great Haydenville Bullseye sidewalk pavers were covered in concrete.
